We fit them to the exercise, rather than trying to fit the exercise to them, one size does not fit all.
Personal Training is great option for beginners, people new to lifting weights, people recovering from an injury or illness, people who may have limited mobility and are too stiff to move easily, and those who want that extra support to help them reach their goals.
We will ensure clients movement is pain free, feels natural, works within their current physiology, and provides them with a suitable level of challenge.
Once they can control and execute the movement technique and body positioning needed, for example, when squatting, and display good knee and spinal alignment throughout and use smooth, deliberate movement, they will be ready to move on to the next phase the Base Programmes.
Personal Training Base Programmes are for those who have completed the beginner’s programme or have been lifting weights and regularly exercising with minor injuries or health issues.
We will introduce clients to the structure of our Semi-Private Training Group and slowly increase their exercise intensity.
We first need to make sure our clients have the capacity to tolerate the demands of power training so they do not get hurt or increase their risks of being hurt while they are exercising, so, we must build them up for that.
We need to teach them how to exercise and perform movements correctly and put in some repetition to build some endurance and fitness.
We need to practice these new movements regularly and build up their confidence and competence gradually over time.
We then need to load them up with some weights and resistance to make sure they can build some tissue tolerance for the demands of training.
Our one-to-one personal training sessions are conducted live on Zoom allowing for real-time interaction with your personal trainer. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, receive feedback, and get guidance throughout the session.
The convenience of participating from home eliminates the need to commute to a gym, making it easier to fit regular workouts into your schedule and stay consistent with your training.
We utilize our exclusive muscle and motion exercise and education app. This is designed to enhance your workout experience and maximize your results. It provides detailed exercise demonstrations as seen below and educational resources to help you understand the science and purpose behind each movement and your customized program.
Our app will be shared on screen during the live session and also can be downloaded to your personal devices.
Every session starts with a general check in and quick Q&A.
We then move on to your program, make any updates and changes necessary and begin the exercise session through the 7 stages below.
R1: Release
This first step is release, which is linked to self-myofascial release, foam rolling or any other soft tissue work. The goal of the release phase is to decrease stiffness and prepare the individual for exercise.
R2: Reset
Goal: Optimize biomechanical position (get individuals into better positions) and create Autonomic Nervous system balance.
R3: Readiness
Goal: Prepare the individual for the best possible training session on that given day.
R4: Reactive
Goal: Improve an individuals power and explosiveness
R5: Resistance
Goal: Improve an individuals strength.
R6: Resiliency
Goal: Develop higher levels of work capacity.
R7: Recovery
Goal: Switch into a parasympathetic state and start the recovery process.
We charge £300 every 4 weeks which is broken down as follows:
1 hour training/assessment session each week conducted live on zoom.
1 fully customised progressive exercise program tailored to your goals.
2,3,4,5 and 6 days a week workouts to use at home or in a gym whenever it is convenient for you.
