David Scarborough
Advanced Personal Trainer & Pain-Free Performance Specialist
Functional Bodies was founded by David Scarborough, a highly experienced personal trainer and former competitive Thai/Kickboxing athlete. David understands firsthand what it’s like to train with injuries, having overcome his own setbacks while staying active at an elite level.
With advanced certifications in pain-free performance and decades of experience helping adults recover strength, mobility, and confidence, David has a unique ability to design programs that work with your body — not against it.
David has also worked alongside Mark Wooldridge, a respected osteopath and sports injury specialist in Hemel Hempstead. Together they bring over 20 years of combined expertise in advanced, evidence-based approaches to injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance.
